Poster, oblong format 25.4 x 19.4 inches, printed in color on heavy paper. Capt. O. C. LeBoutillier (1894-1983) was an American aviator and WWI flying ace who served with the British Royal Naval Air Service and Royal Air Force. He trained at the Wright Brothers Flying School in Mineola, New York. He gave Amelia Earhart her first lesson in a twin-engined aircraft. Robert Easton was an original member of the 'Quiz Kids' with aviation his special interest. He went on to a long and successful acting career and even more successful career as a voice coach for many Hollywood actors. Inscribed by LeBoutillier: 'To the 'Quiz Kid, Aviation Specialist' with best wishes. Capt. O. C. Leboutillier, 209 Squadron, R. A. F.' The 'Quiz Kid' is Robert Easton. First edition (first printing). A very good copy. Stain on upper poster margin, soiling on upper left corner and chip missing from upper right corner, all easily covered by matting.
