Small boxes, 1.6 x 2.75 x 1.0 inches, patterned black paper over thick stock, with gold banner entitled 'Saroyan Sayings.' Boxes are fine. The gold banner has been cut to open the boxes. Sayings printed in black on white strip of paper: 'Art is looking, Art is seeing. 1967. Words;' and 'Life is seeing. 1967. Words.' Each box contains a cotton cushion, 2 gold foil enclosed half-dollar shaped pieces of milk chocolate, and the saying. The gold foil is embossed with lady Liberty on one side and flying eagle on the reverse. Scarce ephemeral item.
