n.p., [1913]. First Edition. Trade Paperback. Item #291638

48 pages. Thomas Fox was a prominent Democratic politician in California. Woodrow Wilson nominated him for the position of state Postmaster in 1913. The nomination drew many objections, some printed here, characterizing Fox as a 'corporate tool' of and 'head of the Southern Pacific' political machine, and 'a man of no principle', among other accusations. Despite this he was appointed and reappointed to the position. First edition (first printing). Very good in wrappers (paperback). Covers are separated and have edge chips. Contents are very good. Label of Alexander Thomas Leonard pasted to inside of front cover. Scarce.
