Madden, born 1933, is a poet, novelist and playwright who was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize for the novel, 'The Suicide's Wife,' in 1978. Single sheet, 8.5 x 11 inches, dated Sept. 22, 1973, stamp with address of Madden upper right, addressed Dear Norm. About 270 words. Letter discusses a review requested by Madden from Norm and that Madden is reviewing the galleys for 'Bijou' which 'comes out in January. Letter previously folded for mailing.
