B/W photograph, 8 x 10 inches, showing Josephina Flores and many others with United Farm Workers flags massed in a protest demonstration. Josephina Flores joined the United Farm Workers in 1965, was shot by a foreman in 1968 during a strike in Arvin, California (near Bakersfield). In the hugh grape strike of 1973 she was a prominent leader. Very good copy. Photograph is unattributed. Crease and overall wear. A dramatic photograph.
