Autograph letter signed, dated Salisbury, Ills. April 12th, 1866. Addressed 'Wm. G. Talbot, Esqr. / Paris Bourbon Co Ky / Dear Sir.' Turner reports in great detail to Talbot the sale of four Warren County (Salisbury, Illinois) quarter sections for $4000. Financial details of the sale, challenges of removing a family illegally occupying a home on the property, payments made for taxes, commission fees charged by Turner to execute the transaction, and the condition of the lands are reported.
