1935. Trade Paperback. Item #188885
13 by 9 inches. 48 leaves, with tissue interleaving. More than 200 small photographs depicting family visits around Germany in 1934-1935. All the the images are captioned in a neat hand. The album opens with four views of a Nazi rally. Other images show the Graf Zeppelin. The author of the album (unknown to this cataloguer) apparently was a doll collector, as a number of pages are devoted to photographs of doll stores. Most of the photographs show members of the family visiting sites, swimming, boating, and standing around in fine clothes. An interesting look at typical German life early in the Nazi regime. One small image missing; covers lightly stained, else very good. [JSP02; JSP04].
