Jaikais de Basho y de sus dicipulos
Libreria Voluntad, 1941. First Edition. Trade Paperback. Item #202001
158 pages. A Spanish translation of Haikai de Basho et de sus disciples (Paris, 1936), a translation of the haiku of Matsuo Basho and his disciples translated by Kuni Matsuo and Emile Steinilber-Oberlin. Basho, writing during the Edo period, is still considered one of the great haiku masters. Apparently, the first collection of Japanese haiku published in the Americas. First edition (first printing). Some scuffing to covers, thus very good in wrappers. Inscribed by Tello to the Columbian diplomat-poet, Gregorio Castaneda Aragon.
