Etching in crayon manner in color on white laid paper., 7.25 x 5 inches. Etching after painting by Francois Boucher (1703-1770), one of the most celebrated painters and decorative artists of the 18th century. Louis-Marin Bonnet (1736-1793) was a painter and engraver/etcher. The etching is trimmed inside plate mark but retains strip of blank paper outside the second borderline on all sides. Signed by Bonnet in plate on left. Water staining on right. Plate is tipped in on larger sheet on left corner edge. Some faint foxing to plate.
