Each letter on single sheet, 11 x 8.5 inches. Samual Hazo, born 1928, is a poet, playwright, novelist and founder and director of the International Poetry Forum (which closed in 2009). He is the McAnulty Distinguished Professor of English Emeritus at Duquesne University where he taught for 43 years. Four signed letters, on International Poetry Forum letterhead, dated October 17, 1977; November 22, 1978; February 13, 1979; and October 8, 1979, all addressed to Serendipity Books, Berkeley, requesting books and discussing offers of books. One typed letter from Serendipity Books, dated 26 October 1978, with holograph response signed by Hazo requesting books to be sent.
