Typed letters signed, dated 16 February, 1979 and 18 March, 1979, both addressed to Peter Howard, Serendipity Books, Berkeley, offering (February) inscribed books and signed letters by Aiken, Irving Layton, Ezra Pound, Noel Stock, Rod Serling, F.T. Prince, James McAuley, Elizabeth Sewell, Kenneth Patchen, Hugh McLennan, and Eric Voegelin; and an unpublished 4-page essay by William Carlos Williams to Serendipity (with copies of the Patchen letter and the Williams essay attached); the March letter discusses the Williams essay, 'The Measure' stating it has never been published and verifying its authenticity. With typed addressed envelope with both letters.
