Poster, 19.6 x 30 inches. Printed in white and yellow on black. Poster shows facial image of Seregni behind bars with yellow sun on black. Liber Seregni (1916-2004) was a Uruguyan military officer and politician who in 1971 founded the Broad Front (Frente Amplio) political coalition and was its presidential candidate that year. Banned and imprisoned by the military dictatorship, he was released in 1984. Nicolas Cristobal Guillen Batista (1902-1989) was a Cuban poet, political activist and writer, best known as the national poet of Cuba. From 1961, he served more than 30 years as the president of the Union National de Escritores de Cuba. First edition (first printing). Very good in wrappers (paperback). Mild edge wear and wrinkling with small closed edge tears. Poster previously rolled.
