ALS, headed Ramsgate, June 22, 1868, addressed 'My dear Sir' thanks adressee for the invitation which he cannot attend and discusses the painting of Rev. Dr. Logan which he is sending to the railway station Birmingham requesting 'not to allow any one to see it 'till it is up.' Approximately 210 words.
