Harry Furniss (1854-1925) was a British illustrator and caricarturist who established his career on the Illustrated London News before moving to Punch. He wrote and illustrated 29 books of his own. Sheet, 8 x 10 inches, with blindstamp The Mount / High Wickham / Hastings on upper left corner. Dated 8th Sep. (no year), addressed to Mr. Butterfield, returning the 'Sports and Sportsmen' volumes to him and apologizing for the delay in return.
