Tomus I: 534 pages. Tomus II: 574 pages. Text in Latin. Kurt Sprengel (1766-1833) was a German botanist and physician, and a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences. Marble boards quarter bound with gold lettering and rules on spine. Small sticker scar on the spine head of volume I. Edges worn. Hinges cracked in both volumes, with toning and spotting to pages but text legible. Former owner's name and date in both volumes have offset to title pages.
