Jukes (1906-1999) was a British-American biologist known for his work in nutrition, molecular evolution and for his public engagement with controversial scientific issues. He spent much of his career at the University of California, Berkeley. 4 uniform volumes bound in orange cloth with black lettering on spine. All near fine.
