A thorough and profusely illustrated guidebook to Louisiana from the American Guide Series. This is the 1947 reprint of the original 1941 edition. 746 pages. A very good copy in a very good dust jacket. This book looks fantastic for its age. The jacket has some minor stains. It is chipped along the edges but wrapped in mylar to show off this acquired character while also preventing further damage. Block is tight though rear paste-down endpaper is a little loose at crown of hinge. A great volume for collectors of U.S. history.
